You played your entire career with the the successful Devils- now you’re playing with the Rangers- you are a disgrace, and for what, a few million dollars more than offered by other teams.

You took more money than Thorton, Jagr, Brodeur, Iginla, and even Crosby, who doubled your scoring production last season (120 to 60) - now, you have certainly established many enemies, not just from beloved Devils fans.

You deserted Lou Lamoriello, the man who not only drafted you, but raised you like a child since day one of entering this league.

You have left the fans of the swamp- you must understand that we will seek revenge, the maximum penalty, whatever it takes. You have left a team that won three Stanley Cups in 10 years for a team that has won one since 1940 (1993-1994 season), the ninth longest Finals Drought in the NHL- what were you thinking?

You have left a team that has made the playoffs in 17 out of 19 seasons, and in the last ten consecutively- you joined a team that has missed the playoffs in 7 out of the last 9 seasons.

You are trying to copy Bobby Holik and sign with the Rangers after much success in the Meadowlands- you should recall that the Devils won the Stanley Cup that year and his scoring only dropped a mere 19 points.

You have forced every devils fan owning a Gomez jersey to lock it up in their closets- you didn’t want to do that now.

Your fan club used to be die hard devils fans, who care about the team- now, you can enjoy playing in front of corporate "suits" paying top dollar to watch a losing organization.

Finally, Scotty Gomez- you should recall that Lou recently signed Arron Asham, not for his offensive prowess, but for your head!
