The New Jersey Devils organization gave ESPN Barry Melrose the grand tour last night of the Prudential Center located in downtown Newark.  Linda Schmidt of Fox Five and Hazel Sanchez reported on the situation and interviewed Melrose, Devils fans, and the Newark's Mayor Cory Booker last night.

I watched both of the aforementioned clips and I was very pleased with the reaction by Booker, Melrose's sincere apology, and the Devils' unpleasant verbal abuse of Melrose.  I would not expect anything less from the fans, who gave him what he deserved.  That said, I hope he enjoyed the Devils' ninth consecutive win at the expense of the Washington Capitals.

Take a hike Barry... you might get mugged (by a Devils fan).
