Jay Pandolfo So Close Yet So Far...

Jay Pandolfo is one of the best Devils defensive-forwards when he is healthy... I would have mentioned the opposite, but I am not accustomed to Pando getting injured until this season...in fact, he had played 307 consecutive games before suffering some sort of lower body/groin/abdomen area injury (Who the hell knows) while falling down and slamming into the boards in a Nov. 28th incident... Tom Gulitti  of the Bergen Record (quoting GM Lou Lamoriello) reported that Pandolfo will not accompany the team on its annual Western Conference road trip... Pando might not be Sidney Crosby (Canada's sweetheart) but he's been shutting down opponents since birth and even managed some offensive numbers thus far (13PTS 25 GP) and a +5 +/-... be well Pandolfo... take your time to recover from the "below the belt" injury... come back when you're healthy... you will be filling a void in the kick ass line... sorry about the obsession over voids... blame McKeon for that one... actually, he supported head coach Brent Sutter...whatever....Devils won last night 3-2 over the Bruins for those unable to watch the game (blame the snow)...and lastly, if you are going to the Prudential Center this upcoming weekend... remember to read this beforehand (it's nothing crazy)
