New Jersey Devils Reduce Ticket Prices... Again

Jeremy Kenter's picture

The Devils left Continental Airlines Arena with one thing on their minds: maintain their home dominance at the Prudential Center.  In the midst of a seven-game win streak, the Devils are playing terrific hockey.  However, the Rock, which holds 17,625 for hockey, has only sold out once, the opening night.  The Devils executives had a meeting, realized that the prices of tickets needed to drop or else the tickets would go unsold.  They have since halved some tickets and are attempting to promote Scott Stevens Hall of Fame night this upcoming Friday night by offering four tickets for 44 dollars.

"GREAT SCOTT! 4 FOR $44 SALE THIS TUESDAY, DEC. 4
For one day only, fans will be able to get four tickets to Scott Stevens Hall of Fame Night for just $44.

Beginning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 4, a limited number of ticket 4-packs to the Friday, Dec. 7 matchup against the Washington Capitals will be available only on The team's official site.

Join the Devils as they honor Stevens' induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame by grabbing the 4 for $44 deal while supplies last. Limit two 4-packs per person."

I cannot promise that fans will be able to purchase lowers for this inexpensive, but any seat in the new arena for 11 dollars is a bargain.  I expect the place to be rocking when Stevens' name is announced.  He is well-deserving to say the least.

small correction

They sold out the Rags game, too.

Anyway, these discounts have nothing on what the Nets are doing, giving away their tickets.
