I will do my best to update you on the Devils organization, from minor leagues through the National Hockey League. The goal is for you, the fan, to know what is going on inside this corporation from soup to nuts.

The New Jersey Devils were not the only team within the organization that had success this weekend.

The Trenton Devils and Lowell Devils, both owned by the New Jersey Devils, were victorious in their respective matches.

The funniest part is that all three teams played tightly contested and hard fought games, resulting in comeback one goal victories.

The Trenton Devils, a member of the ECHL – North America’s Premier “AA” Hockey League, had to come from behind to defeat the Elmira Jackals, 2-1, in front of 2,628 at the First Arena in Elmira, N.Y.

Their come from behind win was decided with 2:12 left in regulation on a "Brad Mills’ power play goal, which proved to be the game-winner.

Mills took advantage of a major boarding penalty assessed to Elmira forward Chaz Johnson.

The Devils Lowell organization situated in Massachusetts scored two goals in the third period of their 3-2 victory over the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.

Brian Gionta's younger brother, Stephen, scored the first Lowell goal of the contest while goaltender Frank Doyle earned his first win of the season.

The Lowell Devils come from behind win was their first victory of the season, 1-1, while the Tigers' defeated left them at 2-1.

If anyone is in attendance at NJ Devils, Lowell, or Trenton games and would like to post a blog or share with us photographs, oyour input is important to us. We are always looking for new writers and photographers to make Devilsdaily, the premier Devils blog on the internet.
