No. 4 Scott Stevens, Welcome to the Hall of Fame

Jeremy Kenter's picture

Tonight, Scott Stevens, Al MacInnis, Ron Francis, Al MacInnis, Mark Messier will be inducted in hockey's Hall of Fame in Toronto, Ontario.  They will be inducted as players and longtime NHL executive Jim Gregory will be enshrined as a builder.  It's 2:21 a.m. and I really want to sit here and write more on Stevens' enshrinement, but I'm exhausted from a long weekend.

John Fischer is the man... check him out for more on the hall

Enjoy the induction if you live in Canada, as the show will be broadcast live on TSN.  I will try to find a youtubed version of the show and present it on the site soon thereafter.  Bear with us, congratulations to one of the finest classes in league history... Does anyone even realize that Francis stands right now as the fourth greatest scorer in history, while goaltenders continue to rehab their hands from trying to snag MacInnis' slapshot, which once clocked in over 100 MPH (that's so scary just thinking about the speed)... and Eric Lindros sees a doctor for concussions suffered by Mr. Stevens (here's to your Mr. Lindros, Heaven holds a place for those who pray), while Brodeur still has nightmares over Messier's leading the Rangers to their first cup in 54 years?

Take your pick... they've all deserved the honor... if you cannot see the event, I do hope that someone youtubes it and we can all partake in their ceremonies from home....
