ESPN has more on this issue, which may have each team play each other next season. I am huge supporter of that system which was implemented and then terminated after the lockout.

I am certain that every club wants to see Crosby, Jagr, and other superstars. That said, ESPN reports,

"A two-thirds majority is needed to change the schedule, a move that would be effective in the 2008-09 season."

I am hoping that owners realize this is beneficial for hockey to see Sydney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin in every arena. Please make it happen.
