Jamie Mottram, who founded FANHOUSE , an excellent and humongous sports blogging network, is departing to become the “Senior Editor of Blogs & Community” at Yahoosports. Whatever that means.

Mottram talks about leaving Fanhouse to join Yahoo on his blog. This is a well-deserved, definitely wealthy offer from Yahoo. Just ask the other 15 bloggers who covered this story. Or they're just in cahoots with Mottram. Either way, this is obviously a big deal, unless these bloggers were scratching their balls for a story.

Good luck Mottram. I personally have read Fanhouse many times and recommend it to any sports enthusiast.
