Devils Finish Preseason on Strong Note

I apologize about not updating everyone earlier regarding Devils preseason final games.

I am back and cannot wait for the season to start Thursday night. There is a preview tonight for Devils. Be sure to tune in to FSNY for a one-hour telecast tonight at 7pm.

There is a lot to talk about since my last piece.

Mets suck, collapsed and failed to clinch a playoff spot. Tom Glavine is going to end his career, most likely, on such an awful note. Sorry Tommy.

Fire Willie, Maybe Omar Minaya too.

Metsblog creator and lead writer Matt Cerrone shares his thoughts about Willie’s situation and he has a nice poll afterwards about firing Randolph. I recommend voting.

Devils finished the preseason strong. The Devils Official Recap is short, but sweet, with their 2-1 victory over the Islanders.

Head Coach Brent Sutter split the lines up in training camp. Good move or bad? Tom Gulliti has more on John Madden’s switch off his usual line, which actually seemed to work in the preseason, where he scored twice in a 6-1 victory over the Islanders.

New York Giants Defense came alive last night. Osi Umenyiora- 6 sacks... Yahoo Sports has the recap on last night’s 16-3 defensive pounding of division rivals Philadelphia Eagles. Huge win and momentum swing going into next Sunday’s city vs. city matchup with the New York Jets.

Rutgers Football lost- and so did several other ranked programs. Maryland upset Rutgers football program on Saturday afternoon. Back to the drawing board for head coach Greg Schiano and his assistants.
Maybe, they can find a way to block for running back Ray Rice. Just a thought of mine.
