Finally A Win for the Devils
Posted November 16th, 2008 by IanAfter five games, an overtime period, and a shootout the Devils finally pull one off. Instead of taking game tonight's game against the Capitals after three periods, Alex Ovechkin scored goal number two for him with eight-tenths of a second left in regulation to the game 5-5.
In the shootout, Scott Clemmensen stopped all three shots, including Ovechkin's and picked up his first win for the Devils since Feb. 25, 2007.
I attached a clip of the game tying goal.
